As we head into fall, both Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley are leaning into a buyer’s market. Recent figures show sales in Metro Vancouver have dipped by 4.6%, while prices are down 5.6% to $1,081,900. Inventory is 26.2% above the seasonal average, giving buyers more choices than we’ve seen in some time. The Fraser Valley is experiencing similar trends, with sales slowing and prices dropping 7%.
Having guided clients through all kinds of market shifts over the past 30 years, I know how these changing conditions can open up fresh opportunities—whether you’re hoping to find your next home or maximize your sale. My focus has always been on helping you understand what these numbers mean for your goals, and how you can make the most of today’s market in the communities you love.
