Short-term rental listings in Metro Vancouver rose 11.3% from June 2025 to April 2026, reaching 15,588 listings as the city prepares to host seven FIFA World Cup games. All 16 host cities saw STR growth, with Vancouver ranking fifth. Hotel bookings in June dropped 6.7 percentage points year-over-year, partly due to no citywide conventions and FIFA releasing 15,000 hotel-room nights back to the market.
